 First of all, the victim was lying in a pool of blood and I noticed a weapon in the victim’s hand. Secondly, I wore my gloves to inspect the gun. The gun will  be tested for fingerprints.

After I double-checked the house and found train schedules on the bureau, I concluded the victim had a trip planned. It looked as if this was a murder.  

I suspected James Trudd was guilty of killing his uncle.   My colleagues and I asked further questions to Mister Trudd to discover his alibi and to find out why he killed his uncle. He told us his Uncle Tobias wanted to disinherit him. I concluded that James Trudd was greedy for money.
