I was so glad to get your letter today. I really wanted to write to you this weekend but I was so busy. We had some German guests at home and my mom needed help in the kitchen. We spent a wonderful time together.

I'm so happy to know your sister got married last week. How about the wedding ceremony? Did you enjoy it? I can see from the pictures you attached to your last e-mail that the ceremony was really interesting. I liked your caftan. You looked like a real princess in it. I wish you could bring one for me when you come to France next summer. I'll pay you back.
